Welcome Bishop Michael Fisher
As we anticipate Bishop Michael W. Fisher’s Installation on January 15th we would like to invite parishes across all eight counties of Western New York to create a short 30 second to 1 minute long welcome video to share on your social media platforms and/or websites on the day of installation (or the days leading up) using the hashtag: #WelcomeBishopMike in the body of your text. We will share a few videos throughout the weekend on our social media platforms and at the end curate all the videos after installation to be shared with Bishop Fisher (hence the short length as we have 161 parishes). These grassroots videos are not only to welcome Bishop Mike to the Diocese but an opportunity as a first introduction of your parish to the Bishop. Of course, if you cannot create a video you can always write a welcome message with the hashtag #WelcomeBishopMike as we will also curate those messages to be shared.
